We Invite You To A Special & Different Kind Of Concert!

On Saturday, November 15th the Sarasota-Manatee chapter of the American Guild of Organists will present “TWO SUITES DOWNTOWN".
This is our first "progressive" concert that features a dozen of the best of our local organists playing one movement from their favorite Suite.

At 2:00 pm we begin at Church of the Redeemer, 222 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota, where we will hear six organists play their favorite pieces. Then at 2:45 pm, we proceed to First Church, 104 S. Pineapple Ave, (only two blocks away), where we will conclude with more good music.

Join us for this unusual progressive organ concert and enjoy music of many different styles and composers. This concert is free and open to the public.

Welcome to the Sarasota-Manatee Chapter

The Sarasota-Manatee Chapter of the American Guild of Organists extends a hearty welcome to our Land of Sunshine to you. Whether you are thinking of retiring here or just coming for a visit, once you feel the sand between your toes you may never want to leave.

Located on the Gulf of Mexico we are just 50 miles southwest of Tampa. This is a culturally rich location with the Sarasota Orchestra and Sarasota Pops Orchestra, Asolo Theater, magnificent museums, Ringling School of Art, and many fine pipe organs. The Psalms and Palms Winter Conclave was held here in 2010 sponsored by this chapter.
